Word Warriors (Grades 6-8)

June 25-29, 2018
9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

As soon as people had language, they shared their experiences and tried to make sense of the world through the use of storytelling. Veterans are no different. Campers will get to read letters and diaries, listen to oral histories, and watch videos from veterans sharing their stories. They will learn what makes a good story and get to create their own and re-create others’ into written or spoken word, songs, or plays.

Age: students completing grades 6-8
