• Step back in time to 1865 and commemorate the end of the Civil War with living historians portraying returning Union troops, a 1st Brigade Band Concert, a Military Review of the troops by the Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs and more.

• Dedicate a new memorial to honor Wisconsin’s role in the Civil War and the sacrifices of the more than 80,0000 Wisconsin Civil War veterans during a special monument dedication ceremony.

• Talk with representatives from the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs and Wisconsin Veterans Museum about why it is important to honor Wisconsin veterans, how the public can learn more about the museum, how the museum honors our servicemen and women, and more.

Videographers and photographers welcome.
