The museum is open all year:
- Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Sunday (April through September) 12:00 to 4:00
The Museum is closed:
- Sunday: October through March
- State Holidays, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Years Day.
The museum Research Center is open Monday-Friday 9:00am-3:30pm or by appointment.
Location: 30 West Mifflin Street, Madison, WI 53703 on the Capitol Square in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. It is on the corner of State and West Mifflin streets, directly across from the State Capitol building.
Admission: The museum is FREE.
