The Wisconsin Veterans Museum surprises a young historian (Wesley Franklin from Glenwood City, Wisconsin) to be Hugh Ambrose's special guest at their annual gala event in Madison. The young historian wrote Hugh Ambrose, author of The Pacific a letter in March. The Wisconsin Veterans Museum follows a young historian from Glenwood City, Wisconsin on his journey meeting Hugh Ambrose at the Museum's annual gala event in Madison on May 4, 2012. The young historian wrote Hugh Ambrose, author of 'The Pacific' a letter in March telling Mr. Ambrose how much he wanted to be an author like him someday. Thanks to the Madison Hilton Hotel, Edgewood College, the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation, the Wisconsin Veterans Museum Foundation and Hugh Ambrose for making young Wesley Franklin's dreams come true.
