There are 1,244 Wisconsinites listed on the Vietnam War Memorial Wall in Washington D.C.  Wisconsin Public Radio, Wisconsin Public Television, Milwaukee Public Radio and Milwaukee Public Television are partnering with Wisconsin veterans organizations and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to spread the word and find a photo of every Wisconsin service man or woman listed on the Wall.

We are asking you to help put a face to these names and honor those who lost their lives by joining the effort to collect and preserve photographs of every service member whose
name appears on the Vietnam Memorial Wall.  The images will become part of the
"Wall of Faces" - a lasting tribute planned for the Vietnam Memorial Education Center near the mall in our nation's capital.

Learn how you can get involved at a free one-hour workshop on Wednesday, May 22 at 7:00pm at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum, 30 W. Mifflin Street, downtown Madison.  Speakers include Vietnam Veteran David Kies (1966-67), who will share stories of his service, and Bryce Kelly, a former teacher who, with his students, has helped find hundreds of photos.  More information about the project and refreshments will be
available.

We are committed to spreading the word until all 1,244 names have a photo to match.  It's a small step to help ensure that the brave Wisconsin men and women who sacrificed their
lives in Vietnam will never be forgotten.
